Our History

Founded 2007.
Grown through trust.

RF BAU was founded in November 2007, initially with temporary staff, then with the first permanent employees. Within a few years, the team grew to over 10 employees, complemented by a strong network of partner companies. Grown not through noise, but through quality, reliability and trust.

With a younger partner joining from 2026, a new chapter begins: Proven values remain, structures, appearance and processes are being developed further. New website, new office, new branding.

The future is being built. With yesterday's experience.

Our History

Milestones since 2007

2007

Founding

Roger Frieden founds RF BAU with the vision of accompanying construction projects personally and reliably.

2008

First major project

Villa conversion and new build in Schindellegi with facade insulation, plastering, dry lining and special coatings. The foundation for larger orders.

2009

Growth and facade expertise

Multiple large projects in parallel: apartment facade work in Uznach, terrace apartments in Oetwil, developments in Buchs and Illnau-Effretikon. The start of larger facade projects.

2010

Team grows to 6 employees

RF BAU expands to 6 team members, strengthening capacity for the growing range of projects.

2012

Growth to 10 employees

The team grows to 10 employees. More capacity, new projects and a steadily increasing order volume.

2018

Strong growth

175 realized projects. RF BAU establishes itself as a reliable partner in the region.

2020

Partner network expanded

Strategic partnerships with specialized trade firms and planners expanded. End-to-end project delivery from a single source.
